Parish Nurse Ministry is composed of a Parish Nurse and volunteers. The Parish Nurse promotes healthier life styles by providing educational programs, information and referral resources, and health counseling as the church becomes a center to which people can turn for health care with a spiritual dimension. Volunteers assist by bringing services to those in need. You do not have to have a medical background to volunteer.

Parish Nurse Ministry offers Blood Pressure Readings on the third Sunday of every month following the 8:15, 9:45 and 11 am worship services.

The Meal Care Team consists of  volunteers who cook a meal, freeze it, and then bring it to the Parish Nurse Freezer at the church.  We often receive calls that someone in the church is in need of a meal, and usually that meal is needed the same day we receive the call. The freezer provide us with the flexibility to provide a meal on an “as needed” basis. For more information concerning the “Meals in the Freezer” program, please call 428-6252, ext. 15.
