Disciple Bible Study
Disciple Bible Study

Is the Bible just history or does it apply to our lives, here and now?  Have you ever wanted to get a better understanding of the Bible as a whole?   Would you like to share the experience with friends?  Disciple Bible Study may be just what you are looking for.  Still have more questions?  Check these items for the answers you are looking for:

What is Disciple?

What is Disciple NOT?

What does Disciple Ask of Me?

What can I expect from Disciple?

Disciple 1 "Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study" - A 34-week study of the whole Bible, Genesis to Revelations.

Disciple 2 "Into the Word Into the World" - a 32-week study of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts.

Disciple 3 "Remember Who You Are" - A 32-week study of the Phophets and the Letters of Paul.

Disciple 4 "Under the Tree of Life" - a 32-week study on a variety of New and Old Testament books including the Psalms, Proverbs, the Gospel of John and the writings.

SHORT TERM DISCIPLE CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE!  Each short term study lasts 8 to 12 weeks and follows the format of Disciple Classes.

Invitation to Genesis -  “In the beginning…” Those words in Genesis may be among the most familiar words in all the Bible. Many recognize Genesis as a book that describes the Creation. But the creation of the world only takes up the first 2 chapters of a fifty-chapter book. What are the other chapters about?

Invitation to John -  This study invites students to come and see Jesus - to hear him speak, to see his signs - and to consider anew what it means to be his followers.

Invitation to Romans -  It is difficult to overstate the importance of Romans in Church Tradition. The challenge in reading it is to learn to have our own conversation with the text itself. Key themes will be: 1)Paul’s emphasis on communal salvation; 2) the centrality of God’s righteousness; & 3) the relationship between Jews & Gentiles and the relationship of both to God.

Invitation to Psalms - In the Book of Psalms, the grand promise of the reign of God is constantly colliding with the gritty, historical experience of God's people to make sense of who Gog is and who they  are becomes as volatile as the grinding plates of continents.  This study invites us to engage the Psalms at the deepest levels of our hearts, where God's faithfulness confronts the most challenging aspects of our lives.
